Your safari begins with a drive from Moshi or Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a less‑visited but wildlife‑rich reserve famed for its large elephant populations and ancient baobab trees. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive through rolling savannah and acacia woodlands. Tarangire’s wildlife tends to congregate near the Tarangire River, offering excellent opportunities to see large herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a diversity of bird species. In the evening, head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of Africa’s wilderness.

Highlights of the day:

  • Afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park
  • Elephants and other big game
  • Baobab‑studded landscape

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel toward Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic and diverse ecosystem located beneath the Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara is well known for its tree‑climbing lions, as well as abundant hippos, elephants, buffalo, and grazing ungulates. The shallow soda lake draws thousands of flamingos and other water birds, making this park a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers alike. Enjoy a full game drive through woodland, grassland, and lakeshore habitats before retreating to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Highlights of the day:

  • Full‑day wildlife viewing in varied habitats
  • Flamingos and rich birdlife
  • Unique tree‑climbing lions

After an early breakfast, leave Lake Manyara and begin your journey to the Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in the world. You will drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with majestic views across the highlands and opportunities to stop for photos. Upon entering the Serengeti, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains scanning for predators and plains game. The Serengeti supports exceptionally high wildlife densities and is famous for hosting large populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest and zebras. Spend the night at a lodge or tented camp within the park.

Highlights of the day:

  • Scenic transfer to Serengeti via highlands
  • Afternoon wildlife drive in Serengeti
  • Big game sightings

Spend an entire day exploring the vast expanses of the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. The park’s open grasslands and kopjes provide dramatic backdrops as you search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebra. Depending on the season and your location within the park, you may observe parts of the Great Migration — one of nature’s most extraordinary wildlife spectacles. Morning drives are particularly rewarding when predators are most active, while afternoon drives allow you to explore different areas of the ecosystem. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Highlights of the day:

  • Morning and afternoon game drives
  • Predator encounters
  • Endless plains and migration possibilities

After an early breakfast and a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive takes you through contrasting landscapes as you ascend from the flat plains to the highlands surrounding the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into a lodge or camp on the crater rim, where you can enjoy expansive views down into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. This location is ideal for an early start the next day.

Highlights of the day:

  • Morning Serengeti safari
  • Scenic transfer to Ngorongoro
  • Crater rim vistas

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique and self‑contained ecosystem that supports exceptionally high wildlife densities. As you drive through this spectacular caldera, you’ll encounter animals in a variety of habitats including grasslands, lakes, swamps, and forests. The crater is home to the Big Five — lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and buffalo — and also hosts flamingos along the shallow lake edges and hippos wallowing in waterholes. Enjoy a full‑day game drive with a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending back to your lodge in the late afternoon.

  • All‑day wildlife drive in Ngorongoro Crater
  • Possibility of seeing the Big Five
